Day Night Roller Blinds

  • Also known as Double Roller Blinds because they’re made up of two blinds, one installed in front of the other.
  • Useful in bathrooms, bedrooms and spaces where you want maximum control over privacy, temperature and light.
  • One blind is made from an opaque material. The other is translucent, providing some privacy and shade while allowing light to filter through.
  • The blinds are operated separately. They’re useful in bathrooms, bedrooms and spaces where you want greater control over privacy, temperature and light.

Cordless Roller Blind

Wherever there are children, pets, or there is wind, Cordless Roller Blinds are a good option. Dangling cords not only rattle and annoy, they present a safety risk for children, pets, the disabled and the elderly (for example). Although wand controls can solve these problems, there are other benefits of cordless roller blinds.

Appearance: cords detract from the blinds, so if you want the sleek, minimalist look of roller blinds, cordless is worth considering. And if the Heritage look is what you’re after a cordless roller, otherwise known as a Holland Blind is ideal.

Easy operation: the pull-down spring-up operation of the ‘Spring Ultra’ mechanism makes opening and closing a breeze.

Roller Blind Pelmets

Pelmets not only provide a neat finished look, they can also help to insulate the interior from heat and cold.

The popularity of Roller Blinds has led to mass production, wide choice and improvements in quality. It has also led to lower prices. The quality of rollers blinds does vary widely.

At the lower end of the market a wide range of ready-made blinds are available, but in standard widths only.

At the other end of the market there are custom made roller blinds of high quality. They are made to precisely fit the opening. They’re available in a wide range of specialised fabrics to answer your needs for shade, privacy, temperature control, design and more.

All our blinds are custom made in Australia to Australian Standards and come with a 5 Year Warranty. They will suit your needs precisely and offer exceptional value for money.

Custom blinds allow for innovative design such as Day-Night blinds and remote operation systems, elevating the Roller Blind to another level of sophistication. The difference shows in the finish.

Custom made double roller blinds

Also known as Day-Night Roller Blinds, Double Roller Blinds are two blinds, one mounted in front of the other. They’re useful in bathrooms, bedrooms and other spaces because they’re opened and closed independently, maximising control over privacy, temperature and light.

One of the blinds is made from an opaque material, blocking light and visibility. The other is translucent, providing some privacy and shade while allowing light to filter through. These materials are available in different grades of translucency to match your needs.

These blinds, also known as Day-Night Roller Blinds, are generally double the cost of a single roller blind. However, that does depend on the choice of material used. There may also be a saving in the installation cost.

Our installation fees start at $25.

3 metres is the approximate standard maximum width of a Roller Blind. However larger sizes are available, limited only by the maximum width of the fabric , but involve heavier gauge components to carry the extra weight.

A cassette roller blind has a head-box which hides the top of the blind including the drive mechanism, making it more visually attractive. This also stops light bleed at the top of the window thus improving the overall light blockout effect.

Generally the fabric is 100% polyester. There are good reasons for this. Fabric stability is important for maintaining shape and rolling up and down evenly.

If you prefer a natural look, see our wide range of Bamboo Roller Blinds. They’re made here in Australia by Bamboo Blinds Australia.

If the blind is made from a blockout fabric, the answer is ‘no’. If made from translucent or sheer fabric there will be varying degrees of visibility through the blind.

Yes, you can. However it’s rarely necessary to do so if your blinds are custom made. If you do need to, it’s possible to remove the bottom rail and trim the fabric, but it does require skill and accuracy. Our custom made roller blinds are produced to the correct length and do not require shortening.

Dust and debris can be brushed or wiped off with a dry cloth. Other marks can be removed with a soft cloth and water and possibly a mild detergent.
